I’m Bill Thorness, a garden writer from Seattle. Welcome to my new website and blog for my forthcoming book:

Cool Season Gardener: Extend the Harvest, Plan Ahead, and Grow Vegetables Year-Round

The book will debut early in 2013 from Skipstone, and we plan to have a publication party at the big Northwest Flower & Garden Show.

I invite you to join me as I explore all the ways we can grow food year-round through the cool seasons of the Maritime Northwest.
